How to Create a Document Set in SharePoint Online?
Creating a document set in SharePoint Online follows a four-step process. It consists of the below four steps:-
- Enabling of Document Set Feature if not done previously.
- Create a Content-Type along with the metadata and document templates.
- Adding the document set to Document Library’s Content Type.
- Create a New Document Set

Step 1. Enable the “Document Set” Feature in the Site Collection
By default the document set is disabled. If you want to create a document set then first activate it.

Step 2. Prepare a Content Type with the Metadata Column and Document Template
